Jaipur is considered the capital of the state of Rajasthan in Western India and is also the largest city in the state. In 1720, Jaipur was founded by Rajput Jai Singh II and it is one of the earliest planned cities in modern India.
Located 268 km from the capital New Delhi, Jaipur attracts a lot of tourists from India and is part of the “Golden Triangle” tourist circuit in the west along with the two major cities of Agra and Delhi. Jaipur is known as the “Pink City” due to its architecture and the color scheme of its buildings, which are predominantly pink, making it unlike any other city.
